- Instagram's 5-hashtag limit built in
- Line breaks kept on copy
Three steps to a caption you can post.
Each caption opens with a different first line, so you can pick the one that sounds like you.
Describe the post
Say what the picture or Reel shows and who it is for. One or two sentences is enough.
Pick the voice
Choose a tone and a length, and switch hashtags or a closing question on or off.
Copy the one you like
Copy keeps the line breaks. Not quite right? Try another angle for three new openings.
What shows before "more".
In the feed, people see your name, the first line or two and "more". The generator writes every caption around that cut.

Captions that get replies.
Six habits that help people answer a post. They are general guidance for business accounts, not rules, and the best test is your own comments.
Put the point in the first line
The feed cuts a caption at about 125 characters. Say what the post is about before the cut.
Ask one question with a short answer
A question people can answer in a word or two gets replies. Two questions in one caption split them.
Say who the post is for
Name the person in the first lines, so the right people stop and the rest scroll on.
Break long text into short lines
Short lines with a blank line between them are easier to read on a phone than one block.
Keep hashtags to five, and exact
Instagram counts at most five per post. Describe the topic, the place and your name.
Give one next step
End with one thing to do: answer, save, or book. One step is easier to act on than three.
