Each style swaps your letters for other characters in the Unicode standard, such as the mathematical bold and script alphabets. Because they are characters, they paste into Instagram like any other text.

Keep your name in plain letters
People search for your business by name. Plain letters in the Name field match what they type.
Check on a second phone
Open your profile on another phone before you keep a style. Some older phones show empty boxes.
Use one style everywhere
The same style in the bio, highlights and first lines makes a profile look planned.
Leave room in the count
A styled letter is one character, but some apps count it as two. Leave a few characters spare.
